Don’t be fooled into thinking this restaurant serves only fish and chips. Alongside the staple dish, of which variations include sea bass, sword fish and calamari, there are starters such as fried brie, avocado and prawns, plus desserts. Don’t fancy chips with your fish? Then try a side salad or jacket potato instead. It costs £5.90 for the standard cod and chips, rising to £13.80 for the Dover sole.
Other mains include pies, sausages and veggie kievs, plus a range of salads starting at £4.20 for the Greek salad.
Sweets are well-priced, too, and under-10s can eat for just £3.50. Bankers can also cater for large parties of both eat-in and takeaway diners, but home delivery is only available on large orders.
