Previously divided into a restaurant – Tables 88 – and a pub, the two venues have come together under one name following a recent refurbishment.
But diners can still count on the same level of choice with the option of traditional pub food or dishes from an a la carte menu – all prepared from fresh ingredients.
The menu changes four times a year and diners can expect a choice of homemade pates and fresh soups as starters. Typical main courses could include steak pie, guinea fowl with port sauce and bacon, or lamb shank braised with tomatoes, garlic and fresh coriander. And the restaurant still always offers three fish dishes and three vegetarian options.
