Taking an alternative approach, Saucy adds playful twists to traditional English fare while embracing the best of global flavours.
Starters include goat’s cheese and red onion tartlet on a bed of rocket, or grilled halloumi with sweet chilli jam.
Main courses range from imaginative salads, such as roast beetroot and goat’s cheese, to more substantial dishes, such as the potato rosti with nutmeg, spinach, egg and Cheddar, and pan-fried duck breast with savoy cabbage, roasted pancetta and balsamic jus.
Desserts include hot sponge pudding with caramelized bananas and butterscotch sauce, and mascarpone and raspberry creme brulee.
