Blind Lemon Alley is tucked away at the top of Middle Street and is named after Blind Lemon Jefferson, a Texan singer who played the blues in the southern states of
the USA in the Twenties. In keeping with this theme, the most popular menu options are the Blind Lemon burgers, which are made fresh every day.
They taste amazing and come with toppings such as garlic cream cheese and peppered sauce, as well as a choice of garlic saute potatoes, baked potato or salad.
A 4oz burger costs £7.95 and 8oz ones costs £9.95, and there are also vegetarian burger options (all £7.95). Other favourites include burritos from £10.95, west coast wraps from £10.95, salads from £9.95 and filled jacket potatoes from £5.25.
Blind Lemon Alley currently serves Aberdeen Angus steaks, ranging from £13.50 to £15.50, depending on the cut of steak you choose.
The restaurant also makes sure all its raw ingredients are GM-free.
