It only takes three woks to cook the wide selection of dishes available at the all-you-can-eat buffet in Wokmania. Despite this the West Street restaurant offers a wide selection of starters, rice dishes, noodle dishes, vegetable main courses and meat mains every day, adding dishes for their evening buffet including duck with pancakes.
On top of that is an ice cream machine all day and a chocolate fountain in the evenings. The location is fantastic and there is a lively ‘buzz’ to the restaurant with both new diners and regulars. The restaurant has also become a destination eating spot with film goers and holiday makers alike.
Wokmania has fresh vegetables delivered every day and dishes vary through the week, with plans to include more fish, calamari, prawns and mussels on the menu, as well as salads when summer finally comes.
With the head chef hailing from the Far East and fellow chefs from China, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, Wokmania offers an Asian fusion of dishes with each chef cooking to their specialty. This is evident in the fact that if you sample a Thai green curry you can guarantee it will be cooked in the Thai way.
With its smaller interlocking tables, its own Wokmania television channel on large plasma screens and laid-back atmosphere, Wokmania is a perfect place for big parties.
