La Fourchette’s everchanging menu features many locally-caught fish, vegetarian and meat options. The set evening menu offers two courses for £22 and three courses for £31 and you could start with the foie gras chaud, or rouille of king prawns. Follow this with lasagna of monkfish with sesame, or rouille of lamb with oriental bulgur. If you opt for three courses, you can add a tasty dessert to your feast, such as pears with coulis sauce and chocolate Grand Marnier fondant.
There’s also a set lunch menu available, with two courses for £10.50 and three courses for £14. The chic elegance of the interior is matched only by the quality of the food.
