An opulent array of sofas and chairs are clustered in groups where diners can enjoy pre-dinner drinks from the bar or they can head to the cool modern Water Bar for cocktails.
With its warm and charming minimalistic style the Promenade Restaurant provides stunning views in all directions, overlooking the sea on one side and the atrium on the other and is the perfect setting for a memorable meal.
Chefs at the Thistle work hard to ensure the freshness and the seasonality of the produce used, much of which is locally sourced. And as a testament to the quality of its menu, which changes every few months, the Promenade restaurant has recently been awarded two AA rosettes, a distinction only given to two other restaurants in the city.
You can enjoy a leisurely dinner from the a la carte menu such as port wine jelly and truffled brioche for £7 followed by Sussex rack of roasted lamb and potato boulangere for £17.50. The experience can be rounded off with coffee, liqueurs and drinks either in the restaurant itself or back in the atrium, making it the ideal place to enjoy an evening out that won’t be easily forgotten.
