THE STRAND

The walls are lit by fairy lights and marine decorations complement the chunky wooden furniture and beams.

The Strand has an underwater theme and the menu features a selection of fish dishes, alongside meat and vegetarian options.

Starters are all priced at £5.50 and include the lamb kofta with hummus and tzatziki. Mains include guinea foul wrapped in Serrano ham (£15.75) for meat-eaters; oriental-style seafood medley (£16.95) for fish lovers; and caramelised shallot and sunblushed tomarto tarte tatin (£13.75) for veggies.

Finish with the mouthwatering sticky rhubarb steamed pudding with homemade caramelised ginger ice cream (£5.75) or the rich dark chocolate torte served with maple syrup and pecan and almond ice cream (£5.75).
