In a country known for serving up gnocchi capable of sinking the Titanic and pasta cooked to within a second of its life, this restaurant excels in the art of perfect Italian cuisine.
Sardinian co-owner Giuliano Steri remembers the days when his mother would rise at 5am to cook a tasty pasta al forno. With this in mind, he and fellow Italian Eugenio Saulle created Buon Appetito. “We’re like a family restaurant and we like to keep it very simple and traditional,” says Steri.
The pasta sauce is cooked on a daily basis and the pizza dough is lovingly pulled.
“Some people want everything fast,” adds Steri, “but I believe good food is worth waiting for.”
