Take a tongue-in-cheek Wild West theme, add families and large parties, and you’ve got Dig in the Ribs, a bustling, lively restaurant, which cites “fun” as its main aim.
The Tex-Mex diner sits 100 people but it’s a good idea to book in advance, as it can get especially busy at the weekends.
Standard fare includes Nachos, ribs, char-grilled steaks and burgers on the menu, alongside chicken, beef and rice dishes. The food here is rich, strongly-flavoured and most should be eaten with your hands.
Around half the menu caters for vegetarians, and the children’s meal costs just £4.65 including a soft drink and a dessert. There’s also a good selection of hot, cold and alcoholic drinks, plus cocktails.
