If you’ve walked past Havana and thought it looked a little too rarefied, have a look inside – the neo-classical facade makes way for a casually cultured interior, which is sexy and stylish without being staid.
The menu changes regularly and contains an inventive blend of classic base ingredients with interesting sauces and seasonings.
Upon entry, head straight for the cocktail lounge and enjoy a martini, before tucking into a typical starter, two examples of which are: roasted scallops with pancetta, baby leeks and a truffle dressing (£9.50); and vegetarian saffron risotto with wild mushrooms (£8.75).
Havana is great for seafood lovers, with mains including steamed halibut (£23.50). There is also a great choice of vegetarian dishes on the menu, including the home-made ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese (£13.50).
The restaurant also serves breakfasts from 9am daily, and there’s a café lunch menu, serving the likes of salads, fishcakes and melts.
