Combining European traditions, the downstairs Symposio restaurant offers Greek food, while the upstairs La Tapa De Oro serves Spanish fare.
La Tapa De Oro has a homely feel and the menu features more than 70 vegetarian, meat and fish dishes, as well as set platos combinados and a great selection of Spanish wines.
You can mix and match three tapas dishes for just £6.95 (except on Friday and Saturday
evenings), including huevos a la flamenca (eggs baked with chorizo) and mejillones Ipanema (mussels). The specials board changes daily and features the pulpa a la Gallega (thinly-sliced octopus).
With a range of meze dishes, as well as traditional Greek main courses, Symposio offers an equally varied menu.
